Title: Subversion
Post by: Caio on March 01, 2010, 05:03:25 PM
A week ago Introversion released on their blog the first details about the gameplay of their new title, Subversion (http://forums.introversion.co.uk/introversion/viewtopic.php?t=2313) (extra coverage on RPS (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2010/02/20/subversion-unveiled/)). I must say I don't care for any of their previous games, but this looks really neat. I mean, it sounds like it's pretty damn close to one of my dream games!

So, what do you guys think? Anyone else super-excited?

Does sound pretty cool. Not earth-shattering IMO, but I guess that's too much to ask. I'm a little bummed they're not taking full advantage of the city generation, unless the scope of the game will expand outside that focus on a single building.

Shares a bit of similarities to Monaco as well. But I don't think this is co-op and it's not really a heist game, it also seems a lot more high tech.

I hope they do like they always do with their games, and contact their fans for beta testing. I did quite a bit of beta testing for Multiwinia, would be awesome if I got selected.

Says the naked unicorn man.

Seems like an interesting concept, if they can pull it off. Speaking of which I still have to beat Darwinia.

That city generator looks amazing. If they can make it feel "alive" rather than purely generated it could be an incredible game.
