Title: Cadillacs and Dinosaurs
Post by: mewtype on June 03, 2010, 12:06:14 PM
I have nowhere to post my new found love for this game so i guess here is as good a place as any. I was wondering if there are many fans of this brilliant arcade classic and if infact anyone has actually played it in an arcade?

Is it just me or is Cadilacs and dinosaurs the greatest game of all time?

A nice neat torrent if anyone wants to give it a-look see.

I heard of that game. Looked badass.

Also, you shouldn't link to torrents of rom files in the forum. Could get us into trouble.

I removed the link.

Game was great. I loved running over a billion thugs with a stainless Cadillac.
I heard there was a cartoon, too? idk

Yes there was a TV show but the game was based on the comic books by Mark Shultz .. Xenozoic Tales.

So you are all "hey, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs scroller is RAD" right? Thats what I was thinking when I bought the Sega CD version. Cover art is rad, title screen is RAD, then you get to in-game play and its this kinda shitty FMV.

But pretty much all Capcom CPS-2 games from the early 90s were giant bricks of gold. Between this, Aliens vs Predator, Armored Warriors, Dungeons & Dragons 1 & 2, god damn amazing.

I fondly remember pumping lots of quarters into the Cadillacs and Dinosaurs machine at my local arcade back in the day. I was a huge fan of the Capcom beat'em-ups.

I liked it but not the best from all the capcom beat them ups.

Definitely not the best. That'd be Battle Circuit.

Also, no double-posting.

The learned forum goer knows when to double post and when not to. :wizard:
Let's not make the classic "no-necro" mistake.

Necroing can be good. Just use your head.

I meant: double posting can be good too, in the same way as necroing can be good.
edit: never mind, sorry, this was off-topic. Melly, can you perhaps remove these posts?

I only ever remember pumping quarters into the Jurassic Park rail shooter that you could find in every Chuckie Cheese's in the 90's.

battle circuit, armored warriors and D&D: Shadow over Mystara are the top 3 capcom beat 'em ups in the Monster King's pantheon of beat 'em ups

Aliens vs Predator belongs on that shortlist.

Meh I still think Final Fight is up there, even if it was the 1st. The Punisher was pretty cool also, if a little on the short side.

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs was awesome though.
