Quick introduction - I'm Peter from Red27 Studios - a one-man-band UK Indie Game Dev Company behind the Awesome Soccer series of games. With them pushing out a new FIFA title every year, technically on the bleeding edge, supposedly "realistic" and with the latest license to use the real players and teams, how do you compete? Do you target the players who don't have the pocket money to get next-gen consoles or a high-end PC, or is it more casual, or does your game have some other standout feature which makes it "different"?

You are also supporting linux which is great so if gameplay'll feel like playing sensible soccer then i'll definitely going to buy this game.

Not to put words in the developer's mouth, but I'd imagine it's because his game is designed in the Sensible Soccer mould, a much more stylised system extremely different from the more 'realistic' style FIFA and Pro Evo go for. Sensi still has quite a large fan following who'd be interested in that kind of game.I do love a bit of Sensi, so look forward to checking this out when I get the time. |
