Have you considered getting a thumb rest? Keeping your thumb on the E like that isn't necessarily bad, but it might be easier to pull off a quick E if your thumb is resting higher up.

Also, keep slappin at that bass, next up you should learn some Megaman bass riffs. The bass in a lot of stage songs keeps up with the melody, so its fast and sounds wicked.

I don't know, I mean I've seen them a few times before but I've been playing 20 years already. I wouldn't want to have to relearn anything and be even worse.  :o

I know some P basses come with those standard. Cool pictures you have there regardless.   :)
