This was kinda neat.
I felt kinda cheated that all the powerups disappear a short time after you pick them up, making the majority of the game an excursion with the single shot basic weapon.

A lot of the enemies were really nicely done, I'm not sure I've seen a ship run away from the player like that, in a scrolling shooter before.

Seems pretty basic so far. The energy feature also seems a bit too forgiving, and the pace is slow in comparison to other vertical shmups. At one point I did find myself struggling a bit to manage all the enemy ships, but it didn't last long enough. The lack of permanent power-ups makes reduces the kind of enemies and situations that can fairly appear in the game. I stopped playing shortly after discovering that I could not figure out how to pause the game.

This is a great game so far, everything is very intuitive and smooth. I was hooked to the end!

In future versions you should have more enemies. And sound effects.

There are a few neat enemy ideas, like that static stuff and those circle things. My main problem was with sluggish-feeling controls. If i'm going to be dodging bullets, i want precise movement.

I can shoot the bullets the boss on level 2 fires at me, but i don't see the point. Why can i shoot these bullets and not others? I can shoot them fast enough not to get hit but in most shmups, i'd be able to just dodge this particular bullet pattern.

I died at one point in this battle and when i respawned at the beginning of the level, one of the boss' missiles was still on screen.

Good luck.
