i cant think of anything else i want to add on it...i dont have many fresh vegetables or mushrooms  :(

Pineapple makes pizza good. Mostly nothing else matters.

but I don't eat pizza with pepperoni or sausage or whatever cuz I don't eat pork.

I also don't really like olives much, and too many peppers get in the way of the cheese and pineapple. A few are nice though.

Mushrooms and onions are pretty much mandatory though. Everything else is optional or unwanted.

besides pineapple and chicken and more cheese. those are always wanted.

pineapples give me headaches, i can't eat them. never had pineapple on pizza, so many people recommend it. it can't possibly be that good.....??

I once made a pizza that was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Others agreed that it was 'orgasmic'. I have never been able to quite replicate its amazingness, and I have forgotten the exact ingredients. They were possibly as follows:

• Tomato base
• Buffalo mozzarella
• Prosciutto
• Duck
• Home-made pesto
• Mushroom
• Capsicum / red bell pepper

Damn, I just know there was more... anyway, it was probably the best pizza ever made.

Chicago-style from Papa Murphy's is my favorite, but seriously, I will eat any pizza.

I'm similar to JR in that I will devour anything.

But meat meat and more meat is usually my choice, red onions and bbq sauce only make me happier.

This is seriously making me want a pizza. Hmm, maybe I can swing one tonight... (It's not too bad, as I only ever eat a couple of slices anyway!)

I like meaty, vegetarian and spicy variations on pizza. Pepperoni is always my de-facto choice.

Except, get that stinking broccoli and cauliflower out of there. They have no business being part of a pizza.  :outraged:

I actually like plain cheese quite a lot... but I'm not really picky when it comes to pizza toppings.

Same here. My fave pizza is actually quattro formaggi, which is like plain cheese on steroids (boy, that sure came out the wrong way). I think cheese is the heart and soul of any good pizza. Might as well have more of it.

How many different kinds of pizzas do you have where you live?
Here it's pretty standard with about 40 different kinds.
It's not italian, but it's tasty.

Oh, I also like the Korean-fusion pizza that you can get in Korea... they do funky things with their toppings like adding a delicious sweet potato paste around the edges... mmm... so good...

I hate pizza. HATE.

I love pizza and everything it stands for! There's nothing as magical as a pizza piled with mounds of cheese of meat and more cheese and more meat until mortals tremble at the sheer amount of meat and cheese that this pizza contains...

...except maybe a nice thin-crust coated with pesto, sprinkled with feta, and garnished with sliced tomato...

Granted, the picture doesn't do it justice. Nor is that really the best picture I could find either. But authentic Italian pizza is a lot different though. The dough is hand tossed, fresh rather than processed. Rather than pre-cut toppings, it uses fresh tomato, basil and mozzarella (the real kind, not that cheap imitation stuff) all baked into the dough, with a very light, thin crispy texture to it, kind of like a pie. Also it's baked in a wood oven which also gives it a nice flavor.

Plus unlike the stuff we call pizza, I hear Italian pizza is actually healthy. They use everything in moderation, just the right amount of cheese, tomato, etc. with all the flavors balanced so neither overtakes another. While here, we just dump everything we can on to it.

I like Hawaiian: Pineapple and Canadian Bacon (or Ham is an acceptable replacement of the Canadian Bacon).

Combo/everythingish pizza is good too!

That's actually Neapolitan pizza from... Naples (Napoli) which is a popular style (in italy and elsewhere) but there are plenty of other styles from Italy so Neapolitan certainly isn't the One True Italian Way. It's good stuff but I think it's a little over-hyped, I prefer Roman style (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/ce/Pizza_kasher_from_ghetto_roma.jpg) if it's gonna be true Italian. World-over though, the best pizza I know of is a pretty good tie between this place in Bloomington, Indiana called Mother Bears (always get their deep-dish veggie) and Pequod's in Chicago (get deep dish whatever, they have this burnt cheese thing going on that is fucking amazing).

Interestingly, since I make my own pizza from the ground up (dough, sauce and all), I guess thats makes me a Mario.

Homemade, very thin pizzas with red onion rings, mushrooms, cheese, tomato sauce and meat (preferably smoked). Also perhaps some shrimps, asparagus or salmon.

I definitely concur with Falsion that the Neapolitan is the way to go.  Regardless, to make it the ultimate pizza, use

There's this place called Keste in NYC that serves a pizza with burrata on it (only on the weekends), which, when I first had it, positively blew my mind.  Definitely required eating for any true pizza aficionado.

I actually dislike pinapple on my pizzas, I don't hate them but I'd just prefer my pizzas without them. Same goes for anything thats crunchy (Peppers/Capsicum, onions) though I do like jalepeneos alot.
