Title: Making systems for your community Post by: Conker534 on December 12, 2010, 07:55:29 PM Like, making an xbox, but for your games. I think it would be stupid to do, unless you had a lot of players, but it would be cool huh? It probably would mean losing a lot of money, mostly because your indie and people are to busy with CoD.. :/

Title: Re: Making systems for your community Post by: PompiPompi on December 14, 2010, 12:09:18 PM You mean making a physical console or doing something like yoyo games?
The latter make sense, but making a physical console is a financial suicide. It cost a lot, and even big companies like sony sometime screw up with their consoles, then you would successed? The biggest headache with a console(from my little understaind), is that if you will try to sell a console with an intel CPU inside, you will get sued.
