I'm gonna wait for the free trial. Not because I'm a cheap bastard but rather because I don't think I'll have time before that to try it out :P My little finger tells me that they released the creature editor alone to flesh out some bugs before the big game is released. I ain't sure if my intuiton is right or not but it's still pretty cool that we'll be able to get a preview of the game. That sporepedia is a great idea :) Title: Re: Sporepedia! Also, wow, talk about maximizing revenue streams. Not only are they selling the creature editor ahead of time for extra bucks, they're marketing custom merch with your own creature on it. Which, okay, yay personalized junk, but I could make that myself by sending a .jpg to Cafepress. I am completely in love with this game, but there's no way in heck I'm paying for the creature editor now just to pay for the same functionality again later when the game comes out.
