Title: Franchise: Single player testing Post by: Average Software on August 12, 2011, 07:04:41 AM I have a new demo of my tactics game available, and I've spent the whole week working on the AI code and making some new single player maps.
Here are some unexciting screenshots, with mostly placeholder graphics: (http://www.averagesoftware.org/images/odon6_thumb.png) (http://www.averagesoftware.org/images/odon6.png) (http://www.averagesoftware.org/images/odon7_thumb.png) (http://www.averagesoftware.org/images/odon7.png) (http://www.averagesoftware.org/images/odon8_thumb.png) (http://www.averagesoftware.org/images/odon8.png) As you can see, the game is a tactics game similar to Master of Monsters or Military Madness. This demo has a tutorial campaign, and part of the first single-player campaign (from the main menu: New Campaign -> O'Donnelly's Campaign). It also supports multi-player modes, single machine hotseat, local LAN, and Internet play are all active. The Internet server is running out of my apartment right now, so I'm not sure how well the connection will work. I would appreciate it if people could bang on this for awhile. I'm interested in the difficulty of the single player maps, and the stability of the Internet games mostly. You should probably play the tutorial campaign first. Here are the download links: Linux x86 (http://www.averagesoftware.org/files/franchise.tar.gz) Mac OS X (Intel only) (http://www.averagesoftware.org/files/franchise.dmg) Windows (http://www.averagesoftware.org/files/franchise.zip) Title: Re: Franchise: Single player testing Post by: Hardcore on August 12, 2011, 12:32:57 PM Open screenshot
