Title: Retro Game Stores Post by: reetva on July 02, 2008, 04:15:59 PM Retro games still manage to be a very popular thing with gaming enthusiasts. They have truly stood the test of time, especially in the indie games community. Anyways, after a discussion in tigIRC, I decided to look up retro game stores near where I live. That didn't work out too well, so I decided to generalize it, and search for just plain old "[My Town] Video Games." This turned out amazingly well, as I discovered this link: http://www.gameforce.biz/buyselltrade.html
So, this brings me to the following question: What retro game stores (if any) do you guys have near you? Title: Re: Retro Game Stores Post by: Don Andy on July 02, 2008, 11:54:36 PM I'm in Germany. The last time I saw a retro gaming store was about 10 years ago. Although around that time the games they had were probably cutting edge :D
Either way, I can be glad if I even just see a game store in general around me, although I guess in the bigger cities they also have better stores. I really miss that little store from 10 years ago, though, it was like right around the corner :T Title: Re: Retro Game Stores Post by: reetva on July 03, 2008, 12:47:07 AM Don't worry, getting less commercial games makes you more indie. 8)
