They basically let you offer services on their site and then people pay you $5 for your goods or services. It might be a good way to earn some extra cash as an indie developer if you've got a unique talent you can share with the world.

I've seen people watermark and copyright some pretty terrible art, so I guess it's just the artist's own respect for their work? What's the point of your comment?

Truth is, I'm not comfortable/experienced enough in high-res pixel art to offer it as any kind of service. I'm a lot more comfortable working at the 16 x 16 - 32 x 32 level (these avatars are 24 x 24), which is why I'm offering avatars/icons and not general pixel art. And yeah, like sigvatr pointed out, that would certainly cost more than $5 I'm sure. Title: Re: Want a custom avatar?
