Hello everybody! We're about 99% done on our 3year project, Sang-Froid (literally "cold blood", in french, is said of someone with unwavering courage).

It's about werewolves, satan and lumberjacks in 1850s snowy Quebec...

We're leaning towards a action strategy game, and because the creatures you fight against are generally far stronger than you are, rather than just hacking & slashing them, the gameplay revolves much more around planning the right strategies and luring your enemies into traps using bait and the wind. Fear also plays a large role in the gameplay, as you can intimidate your enemies with fire and magic.

As a franco-ontarian I have to tell you that you've totally captured the rural feel of Quebec. I saw the screenshot and the first thing I thought was French Canada and then I read your description... the folk music totally added to it too :)

Thanks we're very glad to hear that. We worked really hard to achieve that! We can't wait to get the game to people's computer and finally see what they think about it :)
