The popularity of the character of Mario, along with that of Pokémon, is ruining everything Nintendo touches now. Instead of a new Shiren (or even a translation) we get the fifteenth Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Instead of a new Golden Sun the same team is working in Mario Tennis 5 or some bullshit. As a rule of thumb on Nintendo systems, anything branded MARIO or POKÉMON will outsell anything that isn't. Yes, I felt this had an entirely too positive vibe for a General thread.
