Sadly, this video doesn't do the game justice. In the actual game, the music starts off with a base beat, then after you reach a certain point in the dungeon (which plays like a zelda dungeon) the music adds another layer, then another until you get to the final melody. It's probably the song that sticks with me the most from the N64 era. Sonic Colors: Final Boss: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcCrHZAKfPI The first half of the boss fight is a pretty standard final battle orchestral piece that doesn't stand out, but once you deal sufficient damage to the boss the music smoothly transitions to a lighter piece and then plays an orchestrated version of the main theme (which was a pop music with lyrics in the opening for the game). It was an unexpected surprise, especially since it wasn't just a straight repeat of the opening theme you'd already heard.
