In Sleep is Death, I don't want to have to port forward my router, and have heard you can use Hamachi for multiplayer with a friend. If my friend is already in the Hamachi network, how would I go about making an online game, using Hamachi, if it's posible? Thanks! -me Title: Re: Sleep is Death Hamachi??? Post by: deathtotheweird on December 07, 2012, 03:55:04 PM it has automatic port forwarding, that is if your router supports it. when launching the game select the second option, and it should tell you if it was successful in opening the port and it will give you your IP.

When I gave the ip (UNPN) to him, it just said 'joining' for a long time. Should he wait longer? Is this long wait normal? Also, when I click the UNPN option (2nd one) it says 'failed to open a router port with UNPN'. I see the exact same default ip when I click the first option, only without the Failure message. The IP shown is not my hamachi IP address. Exactly how would I use hamachi for this? Would it be like minecraft or terraria? |
