Hello everyone!

I'm proud to be posting this thread for my first entirely solo game. I've made 2 before but never programmed one myself, so this is very exciting and fun.
I'm posting this in hopes of receiving all manner of responses; critique, suggestions, possible bugs, and anything else you want to give me.
This game is certainly unfinished, especially visually, but it's mechanics are nearly all done. The final mechanic is not yet implemented, because I don't know how to do it.

First, let me explain the game. It's a game about protecting your sunken city from the invading army of ships.

Arrow Keys to move
Z to shoot forward
X to shoot up

The lose conditions aren't actually programmed yet. But you would lose if your submarine or all your buildings gets destroyed. You get a score at the end for the number of seconds you stayed alive, bonus points for rescuing divers, and minus points for every diver that died.

So, I think that's about it for now. Thank you very much if you read through all this, played my game, or have anything to comment about it!

Well, let me be the first on here to congratulate you on your first solo game!

I like:
- simple, clean graphical style
- controls seem to work alright and make sense

Suggestions:
- make an HTML page around it with very simple instructions on how to play.
- show point values as you score them - like a "1000" or whatever floating up from when you rescue one of the little people
- explosions. make them cool. make them juicy.
- maybe some subtle water graphic/sound effects? bubbles, maybe some kind of refraction if it's possible, little environmental stuff like that

Thanks!

I have a lot of visuals planned, but I'm holding off on all of those until the game mechanics are finished.

I've added a controls list and a score when you die.
