Title: Coba's Dream - A strange universe platformer game
Post by: Serge on March 07, 2013, 07:24:47 PM
This game is a very short platformer game about a twisted and sick vision of our reality, the hero must face monsters created from his own troubles and fears.
It is a little project we did to get experience and we don't plan to make it bigger o commercial, by the moment.

Controls:

A: Jump
S: Attack
Arrows: Move

Wow. I love the art. It reminds me of the Genesis era.

I liked the visuals and overall design.

I felt like maybe the world was a little too solid, and didn't care about me enough, if that makes sense.  Maybe it would help if there was some sort of small touches like some dust particles when you land after jumping, and sparks when your attack hits a solid surface.  It might also help if the attack had a small knock back or at least freeze effect on the enemy.

The timing on the jump sound seems a bit late to me.  Also I got tired of the music quickly.

I liked the ending.
