Title: Bayou
Post by: paulmcgg on July 01, 2013, 03:53:16 PM
I made this originally for the last Ludum Dare with artist Sam Gross who collaborated on the visual aesthetic, but returned to it this weekend and fixed a bunch of bugs. Posting here to get some feedback on what I coulda/shoulda.

You are in the swamp. It is night. You have a single spear.

Steer with A and D
Move Forward with W

Look with the mouse
Aim with right mouse button, then
Throw with left mouse button

I've wanted to make a 3D walk-y composition for a while, something at a more deliberate pace, and this is a brief toe in that direction. In the spirit of the minimalist theme I decided to go one further and all but remove the walking parts, now it's a floating game. Let me know if you have any thoughts or feedback.
