Title: Undead Uprising

I have been developing a game named "Undead Uprising" for over a month. I hope for my game to be fun, as opposed to boring. My friend is doing the art while I am doing the coding. It is still very early in development and I haven't planned for any upcoming releases because the engine and level editor is under heavy construction. Currently, I am working on the level editor. (And for any who is curious, it's written in C++/SDL).

Story:
Some new strain of the undead virus has evolved on earth. Bad news is: it spreads like dancer fever on Boogie nights. The good news is: you are in control.   >:D

Gameplay:
You play as the Undead taking over the human race. The gameplay will be akin to Lemmings, such that you must control your minions to find a logical way to reach your objective, let it be eating the brains of some target human or spreading your undead seed among earth.

(Sorry, no download link yet.)

So respect the architect, as I begin to build.

 :gentleman:...your thoughts?

Trashcan icon needs to change to fit the theme.

@Hideous: Yea, I was trying to find some creepy looking trash bins, but to no avail. Maybe I'll just draw one up myself..

@chutup: thanks!  :)

Looks nice. Liked lemmings, I played it as a kid, and it seems you have found an interesting view of that old classic.

Q: Will the game play on a flat floor, with no platforms at different heights? The ingame screenshot indicates something like that, but the level editor screen does not ???

Feedback: If there is anything I think could use a little improvement it's the background. If you don't have the resources to make several layers of paralax scrolling it's not necessary, but a layer of black tree-contours scrolling in front of the moon would add to the sense of depth and room.

I like the clouds and the stars!

Perhaps instead of a trashbin you could have a fire with paper and skulls and such in it? Or maybe a skull-candle thing with paper over it to symbolize deletion.

The game look nice so far!

Thanks for the interest in my game.   :)

However, for several unsaid reasons, I abandoned the development of this game a few months ago. Nevertheless, I was able to recycle the game engine and scene editor to use on my new game, Psychedelic Farmer, and it has been under development ever since.

Anyhow, you can check it out here: http://illogictree.com/psychedelic-farmer/ (http://illogictree.com/psychedelic-farmer/)

Cheers.
