What is the game? The game will be a "Ice sliding" type of game where the player must get to the end of the level but only being able to move once until you hit an obstacle, similar to Pokemon with the ice gym. for some of you that don't know I will post a link to show you what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erqrS-e-piA#t=35 Style The style of the game as the title suggests is going to be contrast colors BLACK and WHITE, with a simple back drop of particle effects and hopefully some relaxing music. The game world/levels will be made up of cubes, the player will also be a cube though will wobble back and forth. Progress/Road map Done! In progress Not started
What do you think
Feel free to comment and tell me what you think Thanks for you time guys  (http://button.indiedb.com/popularity/medium/games/28703.png) (http://www.indiedb.com/games/black-box) Title: Re: Contrast - Puzzle with a RPG element Post by: Reaper on January 09, 2014, 03:41:56 AM No idea about the gameplay (haven't watched any Pokemon), perhaps someone else will reply about that, but the name "Contrast" has already been used by another game that was recently released.
Just pointing out so you don't get in trouble if the game gets released :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contrast_(video_game) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contrast_(video_game)) Title: Re: Contrast - Puzzle with a RPG element Post by: Simple Bits on January 09, 2014, 03:48:55 AM No idea about the gameplay (haven't watched any Pokemon), perhaps someone else will reply about that, but the name "Contrast" has already been used by another game that was recently released. Title: Re: Contrast - Puzzle with a RPG element Post by: ANtY on January 09, 2014, 04:47:57 AM seems a little boring to me, since it was a minor part of another game, and you don't say anything about expanding more on that idea?
Title: Re: Contrast - Puzzle with a RPG element Post by: Mental Moustache on January 09, 2014, 04:58:40 AM You should definately check out a game called Kickle Cubicle (NES) as well! It's all about ice-sliding puzzles.
