Title: INTOTHEUNKOWN [2D, explore random worlds, build, survive expand your lab]
Post by: Nic B on July 21, 2014, 11:48:55 AM
The name is a work in progress....

So, my game is a top down 2D game that I have been building in Unity for a few months.

It follows a scientist as he slides between different worlds.
The scientist can head back to his null space lab and build more powerful machines that will allow him to explore new worlds, store loot farm and cage animals.

I have the major mechanics worked out and working including:

Random world generation (only 1 biome so far)
Basic Critter AI
Base building
Time of Day
Harvesting
etc.

This game looks awesome so far  :handclap:, maybe you could add that you needed to survive (from monsters or hunger? or both) or find all the secrets (because of the randomly genorated world and from the gifs it looks dark). Keep up the good work and I hope you keep posting. Good luck!  :panda:

Thanks Fuzzy!

I have a day night cycle up and running and I made this gif at night, but thanks for the advice. I need to do some proper gifs and pics because the first ones are pretty bad :)
