Title: Pirate-Ninja Meat Arena Post by: bunkovsky on August 19, 2014, 02:48:49 PM First off, hi Everybody - i finally decided that it might be much nicer to crawl out of secret basements while developing games, hope that it will be fun here @ forums. :)
The game: The game is planned to be one finger-meat machine. Pirate-Ninjas go head to head with each other with an intent to slice and smash each other up nicely. Like professional meat-grinders. Currently planned local multiplayer for 2 players. Next up - Art. Took a stab at pixel art. I usually work with vectors and this is first try at just pixeling, so it took a while to get used to, but should be alright. Tho it seems that drawing with a mouse is a pain -.- (http://bunkovsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/00.jpg) (http://bunkovsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/03.gif) (http://bunkovsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/04.gif) (http://bunkovsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/05.gif) (http://bunkovsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/02.gif) (http://bunkovsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/01.gif) Would appreciate some critique about how stuff looks and if something feels off, thanks :) Title: Re: Pirate-Ninja Meat Arena Post by: DevWithoutACrew on August 19, 2014, 08:38:06 PM Looks nice visually, especially if now you are starting on pixel art it's terrific, I love the gore to the right side (maybe we can have even more?? :eyebrows:).
One suggestion though, can you make the character a tad bigger? It would make it more clear to see the animations and character design, not to say make them stand out from each other. I'm expecting to see and some gameplay soon maybe? Nice work! |
