Story:
Blaster Girl has crash landed on a planet with menacing monsters and must blast her way out to survive.

Blaster Girl ship design.  This was inspired by Niklas Jansson's tiny Metroid ship.  The ship can collapse for flight mode or expand to mech/fighting mode.  I'm thinking it shows up in cut scenes and that the ship is not a playable character.

Pretty cool looking. I take it we're going for a nostalgic retro atmosphere, but obviously I can't gather much past that; you haven't offered much info yet...  :concerned:

Here is a prototype of the game.  Trying to get a feel for what direction I want to go in.  This is my 3rd game and I am undecided if this is the one where I try a more ambitious scope than my previous 2 games.
