quick thing for miniLD7.

going to sleep now; will tidy up one or two things, add music/basic sfx/several new levels TOMORROW.  Any hints/suggestions in the interim would be appreciated.

It's pretty cool, I rather like the idea. Yeti's cute.

However, I find the entire implementation a little... problematic. Maybe it's just the lack of animation, but I'm not really feeling the sneaky-ness. I can understand when I do something wrong, and I can correct that mistake, but to some basic part of my brain it still feels a little random. I think it's the fact that failure simply means everything resets.

Probably just needs a little polish around the edges - the sounds will help. Some little animations wouldn't hurt, either. And maybe a tutorial level showing general line-of-sight?

yeah, you're right.  I added some effects, which don't improve things too much, but whatever; i'm done with it.

I don't really get it... I just try and try until I complete the levels. Maybe you could somehow explain how it works?

Also, I got stuck. It was in a level where I spawned within one of the human's line of sight. As soon as I moved towards him the game was over. But by tapping the button very fast the yeti just... teleported to the human and got him, even though he shouldn't be able to, I think. Then I took the other human in the map as well, and then the level didn't finish. Odd.

I liked the little texts between the levels ;D

the idea is that different coat patterns (black/mixed/white) will camouflage you against the different walls.  However, your coat is patterned different on each side, so it depends on which direction you're being viewed from.

that sounds...weird...the teleporting effect is an artifact of something or other, and shouldn't effect the underlying game logic.  pfft...whatever

Do I recognize the burning engagement of someone who have once and for all put a "finished" label on a game? :D
