Title: Penumbra on Steam Weekend Deal
Post by: Caio on June 05, 2009, 01:39:40 PM
Both Penumbra: Overture and Penumbra: Black Plague are on sale on Steam at 75% off this weekend. Has anyone here played them? What did you think?

I bought it as soon as I heard. I'd been waiting for an excuse to buy the games, truthfully.

I liked both Penumbra games a lot. They are great, quite unique and if you are not far too afraid of horror games, this is a steal.

By the way, the Black Plague Gold Edition included in this package comes with the mini-addon "Requiem", which is a series of puzzle chambers, from what I've heard arranged similar to Portal. It was largely criticized for just being a lot worse than the "proper" releases, Overture and Black Plague, but I guess in the case of this bargain it might be a neat little bonus.

Actually, the wolf thing is all there is to Overture.

It's a game about sneaking past dogs.
