Justice and Akira Takeshi are my new loves, I thank my electronica friend for the introduction.

Timewarp Dub -- my mind and my load were both blown at the same time.

that was part of its charm, though, and fit in with the weird atmosphere. the intro was absurdly hilarious!

cystem glitch, let's be reading buddies.

survivor is definitely my favorite palahniuk novel -- i read a lot of his work when i was 17-19 and i've always admired his style. his earlier books all are about some displaced person trying to re-enter society, so they all blend a bit together, but his prose is great. haven't read too much of his recent work, though.

i have a raymond carver collection to keep me company for my flight today.

Hunter S. Thompson is great stuff, I blame him for my disjointed reviewing style. Chuck Palahniuk is a great minimalist author; Bret Easton Ellis is too nihilistic for my liking, but I really love me some Raymond Carver. Kafka has style, and sure, I'd love to have The Castle in game form, but his writing style isn't something I'd personally emulate*.

thanks thecatamites, downloading the pdf as i type.

*probably because I can't.

sinclair, how is God Hand? i know certain communities (select button, et. al) revere it, but i haven't gotten my hands on a copy yet.

i'm tempted to make a mixtape as well... not sure what spectrum to cover though.

beat happening is an off-kilter indie pop band, they have simple riffs and uh, interesting vocals but i wholeheartedly enjoyed their Jamboree album. are there any other K Records artists that are worth a listen?

i take back what i said about wolvey, he's a beast.

i'm running wolvey/haggar/zero, but as much as it pains me to do so it looks like i need to swap out zero. nostalgia-wise, nothing beats playing as him in black armor (X5 for the victory) but he's my weakest character at the moment. arthur is still a pain to play as but i really want to learn him. super skrull and spidey are both getting some action too.

and i guess the people i play against suck, because i've developed a trick or two against the prevalent sentinels.

rereading Vonnegut's Timequake. He got me through my mid-teens, and it's nice to turn back to his stuff.

my little bro has a soft spot for mmo's, and it looks like i might be able to join him for once. this looks like fun stuff!

i'm inupiaq, but as far as my region of alaska goes most people proudly call themselves 'eskimo' or 'native'. you aren't racist for calling me an eskimo -- it's not like getting called a tundra-nigger, as some people have -- and that wasn't my point.

you mimicking another language was like mario's italian caricature or a speedy gonzales cartoon -- very one-dimensional and ill-informed. i'm not calling you a bigot, but saying, say, "undela, undela, reeba rebba" is definitely not in best taste, and implicitly racist.

whatev's.
