i need to get back into the swing of glorious trainwrecks and make my two-player "latching onto fences and punching dudes meets balloon fight" idea.
my eventual goal is to strip away the robot helpers and make a concise action title strictly about punching dudes. Super Shatterhand Bros, if you will.

Shatterhand is the fucking bomb and everyone needs to play it 192765109650915 times.
THIS. Shatterhand is fucking amazing, you can punch bullets out of the air. If I could make any game right now, it'd be a spiritual successor to said awesomeness.

I preface each and every one of my actions with a single thought: "Would Batman do this? that image is my t-shirt right now.

pleasingfungus -- the controls in super mario bros are simplified due to the nes controller; the first time a player presses 'A' it is readily apparent what that button does. now, there were a couple people that never learned 'B' was the run button, but i'd say there were enough subtle hints in the game (that and it was the only other button, sans start + select)

yeah weed takes precedence before alcohol in my book. having my dealer (affectionately dubbed grandma) leave town for oregon and the semi-new inclusion of an honest-to-allah liquor store means i've been drinking a lot more though.

once the stuff kicked in we had to give mario kart a rest, i was just chilling on the top bunk listening to said velvet underground album. dxm is unlike most other drugs; drugs are bad and you shouldn't do them, but if you do do them i'd say to try out dxm at least once. get the capsules though because that shit is disgusting.
nitrous oxide is fun.

Random Observation: I notice when I am loaded on cough syrup and cold medicine I swear a lot more.
Fuck, I better fucking well keep away from that shit then. That could be bastarding dangerous. during my first year of college my friend and i were low on weed so we bought a couple bottles of cough syrup. i mixed up two bottles of the stuff into a large container and mixed it with dr pepper while my friend loaded up mario kart 64. i wandered out of my friend's dorm room, cup in hand, and lo and behold one of the campus police was patrolling the hallways. he asked what was in my cup, and i told him just dr pepper. i told him he could drink some if he wanted. the concoction was sickeningly red, but he declined and said i better get back to the room. i obliged, drank that nasty shit and proceeded to trip approximately fourteen and a half balls while listening to the velvet underground's white light/white heat. true story bro
