Microsoft and Playstation are currently turning a profit off their hardware, so I imagine Super Wii or whatever will have comparable hardware, though most likely minus a BluRay drive and any sort of movie playback capability.

I would still rather have a widescreen panel that I can hang on a wall than a comparable-sized CRT that takes up an entire corner of the living room.

Sex of any kind that is for reasons other than procreation is wrong, either way.
Do you have a Biblical source to back up this assertion?
346  Player / General / Re: Religion (Formerly "What religion are you?") on: April 13, 2011, 09:33:05 AM
I guess I'm hopping into this thread against my better judgement again, but...

So eating the fruit of knowledge made men and women afraid to be naked, and god did not like that man is ashame to be naked apparently. The original sin is not sex, but being afraid of it.
The original sin didn't exactly have anything to do with sex, just that they ate something they were told not to, which introduced the concept of evil to them.  Though on the topic of sex, in Genesis 1:28, God tells Adam and eve to "be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth."  It's kind of hard for a man to "multiply" without "knowing" his wife.  It was sometime in the last 2000 years where sex somehow changed from a sacred act that should only be done between a man and his wife and into a dirty thing of evil that should be done as little as possible and through a bedsheet with a hole in it...  Huh?

Though I guess it's an easy verse to miss, as it doesn't seem that many think about the whole "replenish the earth" bit and add back to what we take away from the earth, either.

I modified the language file for Notepad++'s Flash ActionScript syntax highlighter so that it wasn't horribly out of date and isn't mistaken for Haskell.  If anyone wants it, you can download it here.

For some reason I can picture a 90's advertisement for the game with the slogan "I wanna Do Dungeons!"

NO.  that does no mean that if i pray to God to reveal himself and he doesn't that he does not exist.

Quote from: Nehemiah 9:20
Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct them

Quote from: Acts 5:32
And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost

Quote from: St. John 15:26
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.

Quote from: 1 Corinthians 2:10
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit

Quote from: 1st John 5:6
And it is the Spirit that beareth witness

Quote from: Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Quote from: St. John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things

Quote from: St. John 15:26
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me

Quote from: James 1:5,6
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.  For he that waivereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Question: Does God exist?
Observation: Scriptures claim that when you pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ with the desire to know the existence of God, you will receive testimony by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Hypothesis: If I do this, something could happen.
Prediction: *insert your expectations here*
Experimentation: Pray, observe results while remembering there is no physical evidence to show for it, as everything is in your head.

What do colors mean to a blind person, then?
353  Player / General / Re: Religion (Formerly "What religion are you?") on: April 10, 2011, 12:04:23 AM
How is that the only scientific method? Do you even know what the scientific method is?

Yes, I've gone to school.  It's the testing of an idea to determine fact from falsities.  If prayer is how people communicate through God, and if the Godhead contains a figure known as the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit that bears witness to the faithful, then praying to God about his existence should result in some spiritual prompting of some kind.  If you do reach a conclusion of some kind, using that to convince others is as futile as explaining colors to a blind person.
354  Player / General / Re: Religion (Formerly "What religion are you?") on: April 09, 2011, 11:51:39 PM
How can you know if there is a God from the word of mouths of others? You can't know if they're fooling you or telling the truth.

Well, that's kind of the idea behind prayer.  It's pretty much the only scientific method you can apply to religion, though it's one that can only be proven to yourself.

If you don't edit the right langs.xml, the hours you spend setting up a code highlighting sheet for Notepad++ will be pointless as Notepad++ will overwrite the whole thing.  Angry

In WW2, Japan was working on a "death ray" using radio technology.  If their scientists had instead taken the idea of nuclear weapons seriously, they probably could have beaten the US to it.
