Sounds very promising.  I'll be taking a look for sure.  Are there any plans to go x-platform in the future (I mean dev platform, not deployment platform?)  If so, would it be tricky to port (heavily tied to DirectX or something?)

Also, what was the reasoning behind making it HTML5-based, do you guys feel that's the future?  Did you consider making a .swf export, for example?

On a side note, are any web portals sponsoring games in HTML5 yet?

I like the look of Happy Worker, man!  I'll be giving it a look when I can...

Lovely balance to that image, them, it has something in common with the palette of Owlboy, which is also beautiful.

I'm very happy and excited!

the difference is that indie game companies self-publish and keep the rights to their games

That's not necessarily true - all the lone indie devs such as cactus, Messhof and Matt Thorson doing Adult Swim Flash projects are selling their IP, as well as people like thatgamecompany who's rights are owned by Sony I believe.

I'm honestly having palpitations of anticipation.  No other game this generation has the same effect.  It can't be good for my heart!

The sixth archstone would have been awesome though, check out this 'Land of Giants' concept arts:

If only!

One time I was walking down the street, and I saw a grasshopper wrestling with a wasp. It was the most epic thing ever!!!

I saw your book in the library the other day!  It didn't have as much wasp as your that story though, which I think was a shame.

Just couldn't let the thread die, could you? The posts stop, the thread falls down half a page. Seems like it finally died. BUT NO. YOU HAD TO HAVE THE LAST WORD. BECAUSE SAYING "MOVE ALONG SOMEONE MADE A POST I FIND HUMOROUS" IS SO IMPORTANT. AND NOW YOU GOT ERES TALKING.

Bump.

No, but it was the first genuine laugh I got out of it.  Dustin's Greek quote was awesome too.

Very well, carry on!

It's coming!

I had to deal with some sample clearance issues, and that also meant re-writing five of the tracks!  There's also some more new music added, bringing the total to six tunes.

I'll be releasing the OST later this year too.  I've put a lot of love into it!

Apart from that I'm just hooking the game up to the Adult Swim API's / highscore tables etc.  Bad news is it won't be done by TIGjam (in fact I'll probably be taking most of that time to finish it), but it should be shortly after that!

I will come down to TIGJam at least on the Friday though, will see if anyone wants to test it out.
