Whil i already own them all, one would expect they would have included ds2 y not some random games. Dont get me wrong, populous is a great game, but one would ratherbpick it from gog instead

Their staff list however lists no writers whatsoever so I wonder what's up with that. Hopefully it's an outdated list or they forgot to add the secondary tasks of each person in which they're equally as good as their art or whatever else they do. I wonder, is the guy who translated Mother 3 involved with this? He could perhaps better than anyone direct the plot and writing style of the game. It's probably easy enough to find out.
To the best of my knowledge, no member of the translation team is involved

Disguise as one. Plus the portal isnt required for the exi. You can convince someone (forgot whom) to ive you the key for the actual door.

It seems kind of weird/bad for a fan game to title itself like an official sequel; is that common for fan games?
(edit: bad because it takes more ownership over something that is not theirs than I am comfortable with)
It was titled as such because Itoi once said that if Mother 4 wereto be made, he would rather be a player this time. I supose the creators took that as agreenlight forsuch a game.

Thereis a rumour that Gbabe Newell stated they would unlink steamworks and steam launching dependencies from your games if they were ever to close. There is an apparent vague source, but nothing terribly official.

Pathologic also comes to mind. Its more like Survival Psychological Horror rather than scary, tho.

The original?? Or the remake?? I myself have never seen the remake and the original only once. I watched it during a 70's no-budget drive-in grindhouse exploitation kick.
Can it be called a good revenge story? Or just a revenge story?
The lack of music used in visual story telling is always great used wisely. Also, really good on the budget. Reminds me of how sparse music and sound was in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre as well.
I watched the original. It's certainly a very peculiar movie, it does certainly cut a lot of chaff and goes straight to the point narratively wise, the lack of epilogue definitely sets this firm on stone. It doesnt pretend to have any stance on the matter, in many ways it feels like it just exposes what the fuck happened and lets the viewer to set its own morality on it, which is an interesting approach I feel; it is my belief that the lack of music helps a lot in this matter (by no playing music to forcibly set the mood). Another crafted view on rape is Gaspar Noé's Irreversable. I have never seen it. I really enjoyed his film I Stand Alone. A bunch of film school friends passed his name down to me. I never desired to watch Irreversable.
Irreversible felt to me like Memento meets a long and drawn out rape. Cant say I had enjoyed it much.

Watched I Spit on Your Grave. Aside from the heavy subject totally related to TIGS hot topics, I kinda enjoyed the direction, including the prelude to the rock rape scene, and the entire lack of music.
