A really, really excellent and underrated game. I only played it in the last year or so after reading that it was Adam Cadre's favourite. I can see why he likes it.

Just a reminder, since the forums were down and everything:
If you intend to vote for this, you've only got another two days to do so. That's still enough time to try out all the entries.
And authors: If you want to take part in the Miss Congeniality voting (wherby the entrants choose the winner), you'll have to send me a PM before voting ends.
Best of luck to everyone taking part.

Hah, I thought that was going to be a link to TIGSaga I'm putting together a wiki for the open sequel, "TIGStory" as we speak. And Indie Brawl... yeah, I'm afraid I had to put that on the backburner I've got the engine basically ready (was using it for another game, in fact), but I've got too much on at the moment to dedicate any time to it right now. I'm thinking start of February I might have a little free time though. If that's too far away, then I don't mind if someone else wants to volunteer to code it...

For the Miss Congeniality vote, six people voted, and the results are:

Congratulations everybody!=-=-=-=-=-=-= The original voting post:Apparently Derek's off to Australia or something, and he's asked me to take care of things with this contest. So I'm going to run a forum poll for the next week to decide on a winner! Like with the B-Games contest, you can choose up to three games. There are ten entries in total, please play all of them before you vote! Authors are free to vote for their own game if they wish. In grand IF tradition, we'll also be holding a Miss Congeniality contest! Everyone who completed an entry for the contest may PM me with a vote for three games (in this case, excluding their own) before next week. This is totally optional. Winners to this will be announced only if at least half the participants vote. I think that should about do it for the rules. If you've got any questions, feel free to post them in this thread! How to play these games: To play these games, you'll need to download an interpreter for each format. I recommend the following: Alternatively, there are a few multiformat players available. For windows, try Gargoyle (WARNING: It's a nice player, but it messes up the colours and formatting in some games). For Macs, try Spatterlight. Alright then! Without further ado, here are the games, sorted by format and then alphabetically: ALAN Games:"The Christmas Party" by OldGroverForum ThreadDirect Download [.A3C] "Panorama" by ErethForum ThreadDirect Download [.A3C] Inform Games:"Capture Santa!" by BlademasterboboForum ThreadDirect Download [.ZBLORB] "My Magic Tire Hoax" by N Day(No forum link, submitted by email) Direct Download [.ZBLORB] "The Snowman" by AkhelForum ThreadDirect Download [.ZBLORB] "X-Maton 2010" by MedOForum ThreadDirect Download [.ZBLORB] TADS3 Games:"Snowblind Aces" by PacianForum ThreadDirect Download [.T3] Direct Download [Windows EXE] Online Games:"Breathe" by Daniel BenmerguiForum ThreadPlay Online [Java] "TIGSaga" by Terry, Kinten, Akhel, Xander, Haowan, Shinygerbil, and #tigIRCForum ThreadPlay OnlineWindows Games:"Midwinter Rites" by Colossus EntertainmentForum ThreadDirect Download [Windows EXE] Direct Download [Source Code] You can download all of the games (except Breathe, sorry Daniel) in one zip file here: http://distractionware.com/junk/textthehalls/text the halls.zipCongratulations to everyone who took part! I know a lot of people entering this were new to IF in general, so I hope you learned a lot and had fun! You people are a credit to this already awesome community

I really enjoyed Sprung, though apparently nobody else did. Also, if you spot a copy of the GBA game "Ninja Cop", get it
