Ahoy. I don't like giving out my real name, and Creepy has been my handle for years and years now, so that'll do as far as names go. I've been lurking around here for a while, and figured I may as well post.

I don't have anything worth showing right now, mostly because I'm trying to jump away from Game Maker and more toward Construct and Pygame. I'm... having a hard time of it. Construct has features I really like, but the whole layout event thing most tutorials encourage throws me off; it feels like putting all the actions of the oven in the kitchen instead of the oven. And when you go a little crazy and put the oven in the attic, it stops working until you tell the attic how an oven works. I'd like my objects to know what they're supposed to do, not the layout. But I've just started using it, maybe I'm just turned around and will figure out how to make it fit.

I'll probably just lurk around enjoying the proliferation of wonderful freeware games and reading tutorials. And maybe asking very stupid questions on occasion. Seems like a solid plan, don't you think?
