I don't think he's a troll, that video is too elaborate to be a joke. A troll is someone who just posts to annoy people.

thats why its.. epic troll?

the worst part of all.. is that everyone's reacting to them. hes a TROLL, you guys.  If everyone ignores these him.. their collective ego's will fade into nothingness and they'll wither away, and be depressed.

Also, robotacon is pretty good at this.

I just saw this today.. i think its probably my second favorite of the excellent pixar films.  great art style/characterization, and a wonderful emotional rollercoaster.

My vision last night has shown me that Generalvalter is indeed human. does anyone else have any suspicions, that would be interested in investigating?

I thought it might be cool if there was a 2 player mode where the players have to try to save the most beagles.

Sounds Incredible Crisis-ish, with microgames instead of mini-games. Neato!
i remember this.. i never got to play it in english though, and it made a couple parts really really difficult/impossible.
451  Player / General / Re: Megaman 9 is 8-bit and on wiiware! on: June 26, 2008, 05:43:31 PM
this looks great.
i actually really like how the magazine texture looks with that retro pallette, i know its not supposed to look like that, but looks really cool.  *imagines game with that aesthetic*

453  Player / General / Re: 8-bit Musicians wanted! on: June 26, 2008, 02:59:20 AM
not to be a brat or whatever.. but isn't 8-bit music, like NES chiptunes (ie basic waveforms, triangle, square etc.)? The soundtrack in NL2 definitely had instruments and was reminiscent of the 16-bit SNES era.  Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
454  Player / General / Re: TIGSource PnP Games Night? on: June 25, 2008, 08:47:42 PM
I'd participate, but you'd mentioned me in the first post.    but yes, definitely.. ive always kind of wondered about those types of games.
455  Developer / Design / Re: "Tactical RPG" design on: June 25, 2008, 08:44:05 PM
haha melly I wasnt as much trying to defend against it, as rather, giving blind praise of it in spite of the argument at hand.  there's no question of whether or not theres grinding in disgaea, i was merely suggesting that it doesnt have to detract from the experience.

in a more deliberate response to the topic, i think that there's got to be a combination of both, like, if your really tactical, your characters levels wont really matter, but for people like me, who arent good at such things, can still gain a couple levels to gain an edge on an opponent and progress the plot.  theres nothing more frustrating then not being able to beat a battle time after time.
456  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Day Two] on: June 25, 2008, 08:39:25 PM
i think the separate evil force is probably a Serial Killer or similar no-good-doer.  As for my vote, i'm not sure.
457  Developer / Design / Re: "Tactical RPG" design on: June 25, 2008, 07:14:43 PM
(Though Nippon Ichi games seem to get out of hand with the grinding thing)

but disgaea is awesome!(and the only tactics game i could really get into)
458  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Day Two] on: June 24, 2008, 06:54:07 PM
Oh, ill be sure about GeneralVaulter tomorrow.  I have a suspicion about him, either way.
459  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Day Two] on: June 24, 2008, 03:51:33 PM
But think about it this way.. maybe in terry saying GeneralValter a human, he actually meant it, to lull us into a false sense of believing.  because as soon as his act crumbled, as I'm sure he eventually knew it would, this would probably be his last laugh, getting us to kill off one of our own.
460  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Day Two] on: June 24, 2008, 02:44:48 PM
YES! one down!

(nice work terry.. you really had me convinced you were human)

BTW - how does the Combat Medic work?
