Not everyone likes crowded areas (me included) but a lot of people see everyone else doing something and they do it too.

Social Proofing is something that games like WoW use. It's like a party. Who wants to go to a party where no one's there? Now how many people want to go to Mardi Gra?

It's better to leave them due to social proofing, at least from a business and community side of things.
