382  Developer / Offering Paid Work / TIGMN is looking for a logo. on: September 28, 2010, 08:14:49 AM
The site that I run ( http://tigmn.com/ ) needs a logo. The Indie Games Music Network is a site dedicated to indie game music and showcasing indie game music talent in the industry. I'm looking for a logo that can be used along the top of the site as a banner that's not really long, but not too tall, so it doesn't take up too much screen real estate and can be used in signatures for forums.

I'm also looking for a square logo remixed from the main logo to be used for such things as profile pics and twitter pics. Also I'd like it editable in Gimp in case I decide to edit it or just change the colour scheme. It also needs to be a low number of flat colours as it may end up on a t-shirt or something in the future, so probably keep it below 10.

Also, the site theme and design will be changing soon, so it'll need to be theme independent. I'm completely up for any ideas for the logo.

If you are interested please send me a PM or e-mail me at [email protected] with your offer and a rough sketch of any ideas you my have. Also you'll need to be able to accept paypal for payment. Also feel free to send me any questions you might have about the work.

I get most creative when I'm tired and fairly dehydrated, I kind of start hallucinating, like lucid dreams while awake. And also just before bed is a great time for ideas too for me. Problem is, who wants to draw right before they fall asleep?

Due to personal crap, I haven't had the time to get eveything organized. I still have to message everyone and see who's all still in.

15 seconds should be fine.

Also, is everyone okay with an extension as we will not have enough for an album by Oct 1st?

I play way too many FPSes where you mouse scroll to change weapons, so anything in the slots 6-0 are dead to me.

I wish I had a job... I'm getting a sense of Deja vu...

I wish I didn't have a job.

Deja Vu was a pretty good game for the NES. :D

That's a good point that I didn't think of before. Definitely a lesson in marketing communication. Thanks!  Beer!

No problem. It's what I study for a good chunk of my time. (4 marketing books this weekend alone.)

The NES version had an autobattle button. That pretty much did it all. :D

I was wondering why it wasn't on the site in the first place.

I'm not too inclined to donate if I'm not sure what I'm donating for before I click the button to go to the donation page to donate for a game that needs donations on a donations site. :/

I figured out how to autogrind in Ultima IV NES. Find a place to stand, and then tape down the A button. Come back and check every once in a while as you will die. This worked really well for me until one day a mod caught and banned me. Sad

Are there any screenshots or media from the game yet? I'm not even sure what the game is about.

I liked Ultima IV better than VII, but my brother really like VII.
