Narrowing my "favorite films" down to 10 is very hard. I will try - but note this is not a non-changeable list. I had to leave out many films I also love. List: King Kong (1933) Godzilla (1954) Grizzly (1976) Alien (1979) Creature (1985) Critters (1986) Predator (1987) Tremors (1990) Jurassic Park (1993) [REC] (2007) Movies you left out: -jabberwocky -the white buffallo -Piranha -Arachnophobia I have not seen Jabberwocky, or The White Buffallo, but they look good! (I Googled them Haha.) I will check them out when I get a chance. As for Piranha, and Arachnophobia, they are huge classics to me. I love both films a lot.

My doctor diagnosed me with depression but my mom doesn't believe him and thinks I'm just making up excuses so I don't have to do anything for her. I've lost my appetite completely and haven't been able to sleep through the night for about a week.
I have been dealing with mental illness, and the self-seclusion it brings on, for a long time now. It is hard for some people to understand that mental illness is physical. It is very important to seek help. Please continue seeing a medical professional. Realize that, although every case is unique, you are not alone. I hope that your Mom learns to understand your condition. *Hugs for everyone.*

Player / General / Re: Why are ROMs bad?

I think ROM files are important for keeping a record of video game history. They are also convenient. I only use ROM files from cartridges I own though. As a collector I enjoy an original cartridge. Besides - I have no TV that my NES will attach to. I need to play my NES games on the PC. With ROMs I can keep my collection of games and accessories packed away safely. As for piracy, one can say it isn’t stealing, but it has a negative impact. Try to pay - support the entertainment industry whenever you can.

I know this is very selfish, childish, and pointless of me to post this here, but being a total creepo weirdo means I have almost zero friends and no one to ask for help. I've been slowly spiraling downwards for the last 2 years now, and if it weren't for the emotional damage it would cause my family, I don't think I would be alive right now. I know I should just keep my chin up, stop dwelling on things, and try harder to focus my energy into the things I love doing, but it's becoming increasingly diffcult. So I was just wondering if any of you might have some suggestions on how to deal with this. And yeah, I'm sorry for even posting this, I'm a fuckin child.
I have been in the hospital for clinically diagnosed major depression and suicidal tendencies. From experience, (not that I am claiming our problems are the same,) I urge you not to make any rash decisions during this period. Please seek medical help if you can. Start by seeing a Doctor – preferably your primary health care provider. You may have a disorder. Mental disorders are physical illnesses that can be treated. You have nothing to apologize to us about. You are not being a baby. People who make harsh statements and don’t take this issue seriously are either ignorant or trolling. Don’t let negativity get you down. Eat right, exercise, engage yourself in something, and seek help. You can beat this, you don’t have to give up.

I am far to cheap to smoke. My vice is cheap junk food / laziness. Heh. People often ask if I don't drink when I go out, but I'm just a cheapskate. $5 more for a little drink because it has a tiny bit of alcohol in it? No thanks, I'd rather just get a soda with free refills. :p Agreed. I actually like soda far more than any alcoholic drink. The ones I have tasted that is. I do like coffee brandy a lot though. I just don’t drink much of it. I am on meds that don’t allow me to drink much liquor anyway - I guess it is for the best I don’t crave alcohol.

I must admit, I am trying to do something like that, Andy. Maybe worst part about that is that many people get wrong image from you. Afraid of that. I wont assume your are a creep. Don't let judgmental people hold you back!

I think many, if willing to drop their inhibition, could come up with similar twisted ideas. Humans are curious and I bet the majority enjoy seeing this sort of art. Whether they admit it or not is another thing though. I know when I hear about violence, sex, etc my ears perk up.

First description I read on Google: Demonophobia is a disturbing guro hentai game with some element of lollicon, involving death, torture and dismemberment with very crude scenes. I assume it is for adults. I am unsure if it would be legal, where I live that is, if the game features lollicon.
