i think the whole point was that simply drawing him is offensive enough because of the intent of drawing him. so it is offensive no matter how you draw him. because you are only drawing him for the sake of "freedom of speech" when it's really practicing freedom to disrespect other people's beliefs/cultures.

i didnt read the thread whats going on guys

I think my problem with your arguments is that I never found Earthworm Jim's animation enough to be distracting. The only time I've been distracted with animation was when it was choppy with bigger sprites. Like the PS2 Hokuto no Ken fighting game.

Why you be trolling, man?

I would call the mainstream consistent in size. It's just that it's easily wrought, giving the illusion of growth. It just tosses old once-popular fads and replaces them. Though, I guess it wouldn't call the mainstream rare or soft. But I would call it malleable. I mean, fads kinda just flood in, like vampires when Twilight got popular.

rare, very soft, malleable and easily fusible post-transition metal
The description of indium actually makes me think of mainstream.
Easily malleable and fusible to the influences of the mainstream. A true indie would be steadfast and never change. He would be...
The manliest metal.

I don't think you understand. There will be intense emotion in each mundane action. Each simple action will be art itself.

W-woah. That Edward one is just so amazing.

I wanna make a visual novel that doesn't rely on traditional storytelling.
I wanna make the art house movie version of a visual novel.
Watch characters do seemingly mundane things, even more mundane than what you'll usually find in a visual novel! Also, the story will include drug cartels and take place in neo-noir Hong Kong. It will also be gender role reversal hell.

1134  Developer / Creative / Re: Your biggest obstacle to create a game? on: May 08, 2010, 09:06:12 PM
My biggest obstacle at the moment is how I like to take month-long breaks for no reason.
1135  Developer / Art / Re: show us some of your pixel work on: May 08, 2010, 08:22:10 PM

It's pretty awkward because the fall frame is based off of SHATTERHAND's.
Plus I didn't add the landing animation because I didn't make it yet.
Etc.

Edit:

So... alluring... but I don't have the money.
I've kinda been interested in Ugetsu for awhile too. I dig them traditional Japanese ghost stories.

Well, okay. I can believe that, what with volcanoes and everything. It seems like a very long delicate process. I have a greater appreciation for geological sex.
