Hi everyone! Smiley (and especially PixelProspector Wink)

thanks for the tip...the developers informed me already yesterday as well.
looks promising so far.
(i have already putted it on my "upcoming games list"...)
i will mention it soon.

344  Player / Games / The Big List Of Indie Game Sites on: July 10, 2010, 10:26:23 AM
Updated the page and added a bunch of new sites...
also restructured the whole thing for more user friendliness.
Enjoy  Beer!

...i also thought about adding banners for each site but with that amount of sites it would probably look a bit overloaded...hmmmm.

nice idea.

to increase the fun i think these things would help:
  • powerups
    ->wall (sets up a little wall behind the tank which slows the enemies down)
  • weapons
    ->shotgun
  • special weapons when everything is getting too crazy on the screen:
    (mapped to a special key...maybe space)
    ->destroy all enemies on screen
    ->grenades
  • combo points (visible stuff like 2x,4x etc.)
  • sfx

Life and Times of Tim
(in my opinion one of the best animated series with adult humour)

->average office worker guy gets into most complicated and awkward situations...
every single time. hilarious.

It might be just me, the server is blocking me out:
Pinging pixelprospector.com [75.119.215.158] with 32 bytes of data:

i have just contacted the support and they said that it would help if you could run a traceroute and then send the results... that way they can see exactly where the connection breaks.
they also said that it could be possible that your IP might be blocked...
358  Player / General / Re: Indie Time Capsule From the Year 2000 on: June 25, 2010, 09:42:00 AM
nice idea Smiley

in many cases you can use the internet archive: wayback machine (web time machine) in order to find lost stuff.
(it is also possible that you can download stuff that isn't available anymore since not only sites are archived  but also files in some cases)
if you have found a file that you would like to download and it doesn't work you might have to check different archive dates of the site...
