342  Developer / Technical / Re: how do you saturate a color in code? on: November 03, 2013, 11:44:45 AM
I cant' imagine a situation where you would want to programatically increase the saturation in a game and that wouldn't make the game bad.

stop working on the game (it's bland) and just make a ton of cinematics and you'll get some press

SpriteLamp is interesting because you don't have to draw the normal map yourself, instead you draw a the lit sprite from a few directions
so it asks you to do more work than the normal method?

And the first version of the scene was better.

The concept of your game is interesting though

Just know that if you're not friends with the organizers or judges you definitely won't win anything and probably won't even get any feedback from the judges either.

... or the game you submitted to them is sub-par at best.

wasn't cart life a sort of dark horse last year?
You are automatically added to matthew wegener's friends list if your gayme artness is high enough. I don't mean the artistic value , but the artsy-fartsy trolling value (ARTEST STAYTEMENT)
If your game can piss off as many gamers as that norwegian bird game did when it won, then you should definitely submit it
