Er maybe not relevant but what if A+S= guard? guard + arrow = dodge?
Same amount of button, more option, just like smash.
Would not be a good idea due to keylocking or whatever its called on pc keyboards

I can vouch for Plok's awesomeness and how incredible the music is.
Also Kirby Superstar is amazingly fun.
Great SNES platformer especially for coop: Asterix & Obelix (SNES).

I played this one PC game once where you started with a creature in annncient times and you had to keep it alive and you could advance to a next creature using a tech tree and it took quite long.
The creatures did stuff on their own, there were herbivores and carnivores, the tech tree was HUGE and at the end of it were different "what if" intelligent beings, like, intelligent bird creatures and stuff. If you reached one of those the game was won, but I never got that far.
Evolution happened overtime and just to the newborns, the old creatures still stuck around until they died out.
It was topdown stuff. Looked like ass, crashed a lot and was frankly, boring, but I still liked it.
Forgot the name though :/

Lazrool started work on a sequel of his own though, and it looks pretty darn cool so far, didn't he post it in the feedback forums here?
B-b-but that one doesn't have Harrrrrrry Haha. Nice to hear from an official source so soon, man! Stumbling over your site because of the Magnetic Sumo Cover is actually what reminded me of Super Banana Nababa in the first place That's a shame to hear, but also what I figured. Hopefully it will still happen sometime. Banana Nababa 2 looks very cool as well, but it really seems more like a Spiritual Successor (as the name implies), whereas Super Banana Nababa looked like a next-gen reimagining of the original game (as the name implies). I think there's definitely room (and interest) for both! Again, thanks for the quick reply, and keep up the good work.

I was just thinking, what about Skullboy on his Skullpogo?
for mentioning that, but I'd vote against it. Why? Well, should we ever finish the game, we'd be hoping for playable character roster The Pogo would obviously make for a good ^S move.
