I started using Live recently; I wouldn't consider myself nearly comfortable enough to use it for this purpose yet, however. I may have the time to do a couple more practice projects to familiarise myself before we start working on stuff, but otherwise I'll probably be sticking with trusty FL Studio. As TwiTerror said, we can just send RARed or Zipped WAVs of individual tracks back and forth, via MSN or AIM or something.

Hello Kitty Online MMORPG opens to public for Valentine's Day event
Haha, I got that one too! I'm going to continue to claim that it was unwarranted spam, anyway. The blog is often funny and blonde stripping hot nude blonde drops it for the webcam showing her shaved pussies. Plural?

Some more work on this last level. This time, I've incorporated the black outline officially as what can interact with the player. See the little dude standing on that platform? See how the chains are not outlined? That's 'cause he's going to pass right behind 'em. I actually had a lot of fun making this level (fyi, it's still not finished, i.e. that whole right side still in black and gray). [Pics!]
Looking nice! I like the sky gradient; though surely it should be vertical, as opposed to horizontal. Also, does the game have a name yet? Because at this point it's starting to make sense to call it 'Stache or No Stache'.

This is just like the "Cavestory vs. Auditorium" thread. Except in this thread the results are more conclusive. And also more people have voted.

Should I get to recording music again, I will see what I can do.
As a collaboration, you could always just compose something in Midi format, and send it to someone to do an electronic arrangement. I'd be quite happy to do electronics and production for one of your pieces!

Torturous transition to something more 3d-looking in progress Oh wow! I'm trying to imagine what the first screenshot would look like in 3D like this, and it's bending my brain! Are the character sprites going to be 3D-ified, too?

But replaying a level after you have finished it, does not make a lot of sense, because youll end up at the end of the stage, then go to the end of the previous. While going from start of a stage to end of the previous (without the replay inbetween) is more of a ... logical transition True. rbelmont000 suggested a full replay when you complete the game. I think this would make the most sense.

I also really like this. I kind of imagined a drum 'n' bass remix of it when I was in the toilet at work, but I've mostly forgotten how it went.

The Style reminds me of the old Amiga game "Hunter". Loved it.
Oh yes! Hunter was amazing. The style also reminds me of Mike Singleton's Midwinter 2: Flames of Freedom, which was kind of a similar game, though larger in scope.

I really like the music samples! The low bitrate works really well, especially for the second track. The game concept sounds excellent too. I'll keep an eye on this (And in the meantime I should check Nifty out).
Edit: Hmm, looks like the link to Nifty is down. All I get is a page about dance lessons and laminate flooring!

The new version's quite an improvement on the old one! I like the successful Jops and Roms that float away from your character; they give much needed feedback on what your accuracy is. The new level's a much more gentle introduction to the controls, too. Having completed it, though, I found myself wanting the old level back, for more of a challenge. After I get all that I'll work on a procedural level generator.
Excellent!
