If you'd make VST of it, I would use it MASSIVELY . Same as; I'm always looking for new and interesting synths!

That could definitely work as a game soundtrack. I love the sound it produces, the way the triangle emerge from white noise and then slip in and out of tune; have you put any effects on that sample, or is it jusy dry? Also, are you likely to be making a VSTi out of it, or is it just a standalone synth?

CGA compo for the win! Magenta, cyan, white (and shades thereof)! Or just a compo where the colours are important in some way would be fun. How about: Pick a NES game, and use its palette in a game with a completely different tone/style.

This is really great! Synnah, please write a piece of length no shorter than two minutes and thirty seconds. The piece is to be of electronica genre (no acoustic instruments), styled on the mazurkas of Chopin. So, at about quarter past midnight, I'm done. Not finished, but I've fulfilled the remit. Please excuse my tardiness, Mistress. CHOON No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 12I listened to a number of Chopin's Mazurkas in preparation for this piece, but the one that stood out for me was Mazurka No. 2 in A minor, Op. 68 which, while slightly less intricate than some of the others, is a very emotional piece. The main thing I took from it was the structure; my attempts at creating a melody as morose, despite using the key of D minor ( The saddest of all the keys) fell flat (No pun intended). Still, I think it stands pretty well on its own. I composed the entire piece using piano sounds initially, which you can hear here. I think this works a lot better than the electronic version. However, like I said, it's not finished. I spent too much time faffing around with tempo changes and note velocities, the latter of which got mostly lost when I switched away from the piano, and didn't give myself enough time to program any decent synths. So, I uploaded what I had. I'll work on it during the week, and upload something better. Anyway, thank you, Mistress, for giving me this chance to explore my compositional ability. Edit: God, my synths are horrible...

It's borderline acceptable, maybe even unacceptable, but here you go, mistress. Thirty seconds long, hopefully meeting your requirements (I may have misunderstood). I really like this! It's sonically very interesting, and I think the 32kbps restriction is part of the reason for that. This is also great. I love the melody of the repeated phrase, and the mixed time signatures. Mmm, theremins!

Whoah that reminds me of some spam emails I've gotten. :D Idea: Make games based on spam emails* Nigerian Millionaire Escapade * Aztec Q. Ampersand in "The Real Man with Huge Dignity" * Dr. Nicholas Perricone and the Acai Berry * Quest for the Perfect Rolex Yeah... I once received a spam email with the subject "Spongebob denies rumours of being gay". Now there is a game.

I take back my other photo, this one is more atmospheric.
It is more atmospheric. I really like the photo of the dog, though. I just noticed we were supposed to write a description of our photos! I've changed the description of mine.

Hey, guess what? I'm really lazy! My track is still some way off completion (Who'd have thought composing like Chopin would be hard?), but I'm hoping to make a final push this weekend. By the way, according to the first post, the deadline is Sunday the 24th. However, tomorrow is the 24th! We do have until the end of Sunday, right?
