Has no one else noticed that you can cheat at craps? And is that a bug or a feature?
p.s. this game is awesome
Purely out of curosity and no desire to cheat myself, how?

Heck, LittleBigPlanet has already laid the groundwork- anybody seen that crazy calculating machine? Yes, and it's utterly bonkers... Impressive, yes. But have you seen the engine for playing Conway's game of Life? Now that's bonkers.

Ah, Derek, look what you've done. A ton of new manbabys who will probably never know of the manbaby forum before they are kicked out of it.

Would David Bowie's sentient crotch be watching? Through the window from the bushes? Or would it be perched in the corner by the ceiling, to hiss at you when you steal a glance.
Na. It'd be to busy getting "helped" by the helping hands. And by "helped" I mean "off". And by "off" I mean "jacked". "off". (Ew, jeeze those two smileys work together entirely too well.)

I remember this movie because even that young, Jennifer Conelly gives me a boner the size of Bowie's crotch.
A menege trois with Me, Jennifer Connelley and Christina Ricci. That;'s what I call a final fantasy.

One thing I really like about Aboriginal mythology is this: ..they generally describe the journeys of ancestral beings, often giant animals or people, over what began as a featureless domain. Mountains, rivers, waterholes, animal and plant species, and other natural and cultural resources came into being as a result of events which took place during these Dreamtime journeys. This could make a great game mechanic, if the map started off completely featureless and was gradually transformed by the events that took place on it. Easy name: Walkabout. Serious, could be way cool. Did anyone ever see the episode of Gargoyles called Walk About? Not exactly but related to this idea.

In the future, Polytron will overpower every single major gaming company, forcing them to send a brave soul back in time to steal all of Fish's ideas and publish them before he becomes famous.
Conclusion: Shigeru Miyamoto is a robot.
But the resistance sent back a single brave soul to combat Shigeru and save Fish's life. They chose Fish's own son for the job. However someone cocked up the time machine and sent him back 30 years too early early. Without a Fish to protect the freedom warrior without a cause ended up living a normal life doing everything he could not to disturb the space time continuum waiting for his charge to be born. But after a few weeks of waiting he was bored off his arse. So he went to a party where against his better judgment he had one too many and went home with a woman he'd never met. Little did he know as he grabbed his coat and hat and ran for the door the next morning that the spawn of their anachronistic union would be Fish himself. Conclusion: Fish is his own grandpa.

There should be a handful of items you can unlock that you can take with you from the opening room. Make the game a bit easier, and obviously you'd only be able to have one or two.I think it'd be really cool if you could mix and match things like that.
Also you should be able to have weapons that replace the whip instead of just being held and used.
Extra bombs and ropes really should be auto-pickup. Combine that with the Up+X, Down+X controls, and the control scheme gets a little messy and unintuitive.
Also, I like the tells like "I hear snakes, I hate snakes" and "It smells like wet fur in here." I'd love to see more. Like tell us when there's a shop or a special item or whatnot.

- In lieu of a shortcut man between areas 3 and 4, I'd like to submit that the main character hacks out a passage to the main menu. It would take something like 30 hacks, and each time he passed by he'd do # hacks equal to his health. - Every hundred player deaths, some art gets added to the main menu, like a canopy/fireplace/hammock. If the main character's going to die so many times, he'd better make himself comfortable, right?
I endorse the two ideas presented in the quoted text. Also, jumping on an enemy kills them, but having them hit your feet while you're standing, like on a ladder or ledge, doesn't kill them. I'd like to see it work either way. I guess I'm trained by years of Mario.

I made a snake clone and it's gonna show up on some website next year.
I know the website AND the snake clone. It's pretty good. Know what, Cymon's Games is all about being a happy programmer. It's run by a happy programmer (me!) and attracts happy programmers. Sure, when I compile a program and get some odd behavior that I didn't expect I get grumpy for a moment, but that just makes it all the sweeter when I get it. There's nothing like the feeling of getting a program to work the way you want it too.

Up+X to open, Down+X to pick up? And what in the world is the key for? A list of items and short descriptions would be ace. However, as for getting the variety of a roguelike with the fun of a platformed

You mean like my Birkhead Of Doom avatar? I'll look for a better one now.It was similar, but a better effect because the legs of the spider were splayed so they kinda kept your focus as they moved.

There was a guy on another board that had an avatar, looked like a spider that was turning and flashing in such a way that it looked like it was in perpetual motion towards you. It was hypnotic.
I don't think he has any more, but it wasn't annoying like you'd expect.
