bvanevery, I think that almost everyone agrees that figuring stuff out on their own is one of the most fun parts of minecraft. Personally I don't care for in-game tutorials all that much, I try to skip them most of the time, but Notch already mentioned them in on of his most recent blog posts, so they are indeed planned. Also, keep in mind that the game is still on an Alpha phase, you can't expect for it to be refined to the level of help files and tutorials when everything hasn't been implemented yet. Features get added, altered or removed all the time, so having to keep constantly updating the documentation would be a hassle, I think most of this stuff would be last priority until the game reaches the 1.0 version.
Also, I think Notch is in the clear with lawsuits unless he decided to call it Edgecraft.

When Amaterasu and Viewtiful Joe appeared I was crossing my fingers so hard waiting to see Gene from God Hand. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Did someone screw with the colors on that painting? I've always seen it as having that typical Beksinski red tinge, and wider.
But yeah, that's my favorite of his paintings right along with the cloth-figure-carrying-partially-skeletonized-person one and the cliff-of-bones-with-melted-skeleton-walls one.
I think you've been seeing some sort of photoshoped version, the colors and size on that one seem to match out according to his official website. And I've always seen it like that in different sources. My personal favorite has always been the thousand fingers flute guy even though it lacks that open area desolate atmosphere that he's mostly known for.

God Hand. I donīt realy like beat em ups much and it does seem to be a love/hate kind of game. Me i love it. Custom your moves, one inch punching and kick to the balls also gorillas and demons. Amazing game.
Pretty much this, yes. God Hand is the ultimate game underrated by the press. I think the game was mostly misunderstood because it has that whole B-Movie vibe, which makes it look like a cheap game, but in my honest opinion I think its cheapness is mostly satirical. I already beaten it twice and am planning on moving to a harder difficulty. But I do agree that it is mostly a love/hate affair mainly because of its relentless difficulty curve (which there is none, it starts hard, and it stays hard, all the way). I thought EVERYONE loved that game.
Everyone except the press.

I would love to see a game with a world crafted by Zdzislaw Beksinski. I would shit myself for days.
My gods, my pants just imploded from this thought alone. I really can't think of a gameplay gimmick worthy of such atmosphere, but being absorbed in such an environment in an interactive fashion alone is worthy enough to make a game around it. On top of my mind I can only think on an exploration desolate desert sort of game, kind of like what thatgamecompany is doing now. Just for the sake of conversation, imagine this painting as concept art for the game. Assuming that the lantern guy is the player, what would the game be about?

I've been to one of those LAN parties with 1500+ people a few years ago, and I swear to god, the more people there is the harder it is to find anyone to play with. I just stick with my close personal friends now.

I had a LAN party with Alien Swarm a few weeks ago and it was pretty wizard It's one of those games that really only works with human players, the offline version feels really dull for some reason.
