Nice Demon, the colors are getting better!  Still a bit muddy from your use of black to shade but its looking much better!  That yellow thing on his face is painted really well, see how it works well with the darker orange as a shade.  On his face you are still using white to shade.  Make sure you change hue's and don't desaturate the color to much when you make the highlights.

Just tried the newest version after not playing it for a while and it is awesome.  Whenever I leveled up I literally yelled out loud "WOW!"  Very cool!  I wish the levels were a bit bigger though but I'm sure that will come with time.

Original -----> Edit

I hope you don't mind me doing an edit delicious.  Your style is great, I learned alot from looking at this sprite.  I wanted to check out your work close up and figured I might show you what I would change not to say this is the only way just some things that bothered me.
-Made the head a bit rounder, fixed perspective on mask flap bottom line.
-put horns in perspective
-changed shading on staff and put some reflection in it (still needs some work)
-Tried to fix the jagged edge on the staff
-fixed perspective lines on the bottom of chest armor and pants

Delicious: looking closer now I have a problem with the staff.  I don't like the pole it looks wobbly or something and not metal because of the outline.. Not sure how to fix that, maybe it looks okay in motion though.  I also don't quite like the shading of the pole, looks a bit flat to me.  Also the helmet looks a bit out of perspective .  Haha, hope those help if you were looking for critique but despite those it looks really great!  Love the design. Do you have a website or some pics to your game that you are working on, id be interested in seeing it.

agreed very cool sprite!

Bones: nice pixel work there!  Nice improvement. I think you could even push the volume of his chest a bit more to make it more full by adding one more shade of a brighter color but its looking awesome!

your definitely improving demon lizardman.  Your pictures usually lack color harmony or a nice palette.  Try experimenting with colors a bit more. For example, right now you shaded his brown foot with another brown try mixing shading with other colors and just really experiment until you discover how to mix those colors.  It really comes with a lot of experimenting and looking closely at other peoples work and the colors they chose.  Don't be scared to fail just start painting with lots of different colors and see what happens.  You sorta had it going with his head though you could probably push it more.  His body and feet is where it turns back into that only brown coloring, mix in some blues or something in there.

Did this for valentine's this year:

And I found this bizarre revolver online, and I felt compelled to pixel-art it:

That's all I got.

Anybody else think this is really creepy with the juxtaposition of these two together?

The artwork is really looking great!  It's strange it's like Sci-Fi meets Fantasy.

I know this is just a joke, but when money becomes the main priority, rather than the player community, the love for games or of making games or the quality of the game itself, it may end up harming the final result.

For me I think this is where I would draw the line (partly)  For me it really has to do with your purpose for making a game.  Would you be making a game if you couldn't make lots of money out of it, if it just barely supported you?  I think most importantly are you making games because you love them.  But there also is that feeling from indie games that comes from small teams with small resources, and it's a feeling that the game is personal.  Not having everything perfect gives it a feeling that it was crafted with love and in a single or small group's vision of creativity.  Im pretty surprised by the amount of people not upset by being backed by EA I was really curious how people felt about the issue and help reveal what "indie" exactly is these days.

Im not there to go on a Langdell hunt. Can somebody catch some footage of him ?!    "...And here we have the wild langdell in his hunting grounds, scowering for young games that may contain the word edge in their names"

Oh man this looks great! There needs to be more board games on this site!  I was just thinking about wanting to do a board game of some kind.  There's something about making something that's real that is unfortunately missing in computer games.  The artwork for the cards looks great too.

Artwork looks great except the back of indie's hat looks kinda strange, that greyish brown color just is strange and looks out of place I cant tell if its a strap or shading. I dont want to sound like a complainer just some friendly critique.  It all looks really great it's just something minor I picked up on.
