I love those designs that emphasize lower body strength and mobility. Definitely. The build of the female in Monster Hunter fits the bill, as well: And on that subject, Monster Hunter in general has awesome armor designs. Agnaktor is one of my favorites:

SCV is not his finest moment though. He used to be hot. I know it's an out of game render, but still... let us weep for the lost hotness. Don't forget that he's, like, 20 years older in V (Almost 50!)

Lovin' that, Nihil. ~~EDIT~~ Now with 100% more decent cliffs and not forgetting to set a toon ramp for props. (But still 0% less haphazard plant placement)

I don't always try to paint environments... But when I do, I get bored halfway through and stop.

Swag, eh? I think you're right about the need for more clarity on the characters. As I said, I'll be having that shader made, so I'll see what can be done about that. And then there was Celeste:

Those guys are pretty awesome, Jackson. I like all of the details you've painted in, although I think they need more contrast in a few areas that blend together, like the Elk's torso and cape.

Thank'eh, Stib. Van's been enhanced: And I've been messing with a painterly overlay, and replacing the abstract environment textures with painted ones: I still need to redo the environments and the sky.
