And we're back! Said 'less ambitious' project is turning out to be more ambitious than I had originally thought, so I thought I may as well start working on this again as well.

I'm pretty much restarting, since most of the old code is just uber-crappy due to my not-skill at the time, but now my not-skill has become marginally-less-not-skill! Along with the restart comes a new art style that's less anime and more abstract, as seen here:

Flat shades, sharp shading, gradients, skintone sclerae, static textures, and stuff like that.

And then, this time, I'm starting with the stealth segments, since that's the first thing you do in the game anyway. So look forward to that!

I had this edit for your balance problem over in the Pixel Art thread, but I don't think you saw it:

Basically, I thought that bringing his upper torso back a bit would be the solution.

Yeah, it's got the same Unmoving Plaid effect. It's not meant to be that garish, though. Perhaps like this?

Anything more and I'll just make a thread in the Workshop to avoid swamping this one.

Then they'd be quite... Handy. Well, hello there!

Even if they've got nifty patterns?

Sounds like a good idea!

To me it looks like he's leaning forward quite a bit. Perhaps if you brought the top back a bit:

Dammit, now I see it too. I also saw the other head as a torso.

Yeeeeeah. I thought as much.

You truly have got quite a solid style among all your pieces - even seen at such an early stage.  I love it man.
Much appreciated!

Alex - He's blue, da-bu-dee, da-bu-die.

JWK - Those look quite nice. I especially like the green lass on the bottom.

And speaking of lasses and bottoms:

This is also incredibly amusing

Is it ironic that a priest is making snow angels?

I rather liked how later Persona games handled the encounters. When traveling around the current level, enemies are represented by these shadow blobs that you can avoid if you're careful. Eventually, at higher levels, wandering enemies will flee at the sight of you if they're weaker.
