The fact that you encountered the memory out of order is probably something that could have been addressed, however, time permitting.
I was fortunate enough to see it in the right order however, and I thought the sequence made sense to me.

You're missing my point, I'm not asking for things to be spelled out for me, I'm asking that the plot be more realistic. It's a fairytale. I'm not saying that you have to enjoy it -- obviously you're entitled to like what you like -- but the way the story is set up seems more predicated on rational decisions than unconscious blunders. You're fully entitled to feel that the story was not what you were expecting or wanting, obviously, but I think you're being a bit unfair in acting like that was necessarily a mistake which should have been corrected.

You know who's surprisingly underrated?
The Eagles of Death Metal.
When I'm old enough that it's more than a little creepy, I hope to be part of a band that wears leather pants and only sings about nineteen year old girls.

I actually really enjoyed the implicit method of storytelling for that part.
I'm sorry they did not spell everything out enough for you.

Man, I've avoided downloading any Real player-related products for some time. I don't suppose there are any alternatives that run on Mac?
Also, is this more of a pre-calculus-and-differential-equations course? I'm trying to figure out if it is worth downloading terrible softwares.

Well, I'd tell you about some additional things the glove can do, but apparently that would be in violation of my parole.

That's excellent!
I get the opposite impression of their requirements from what everyone has written, but it could be possible that they're just fed up by playing endless broken, borderline unplayable entries.
It mostly just seems mean-spirited to me when they say things like, "I'd better not have to repeat anything, and it had better grab me right away and not make me wait for anything, and it had better pour me a drink while the installer is running, and you're probably lucky if I don't just burn your entry to CD and then pee on the CD."

Like nearly all reviewers of everything, they want something which is easy to get into more than they want something which is interesting or of high standards.
The impression I seem to get from all the IGF judges whose opinions I've read is that they're more concerned with having a traditional, immediate, polished-looking game than something which could be more interesting, yet is a little rough around the edges.
Obviously it's their business, but I'm not sure it's entirely a wise policy in all cases.

From a devilish, capitalist perspective, keep in mind that, while some people may balk at a higher price, a higher price also increases perceived value.
People who might download a game for free would not buy it if you charged $1, but if you charged $10 or $20 they'd probably think about it.
So just because you've had a few complaints due to a $30 price does not mean that it has actually produced a real drop in sales, it may in fact motivate other people to buy it.

You know what, I know it's been an industry joke for year, and I know Prey, which had the same development history, ended up kind of average, but I would actually really enjoy it if the new Duke Nukem actually saw release at some point and combined all the best aspects of Escape from New York and Hell Comes to Frogtown.
That's sort of how I visualize my ideal macho-bullshit-camp game.
