Doesn't that get a bit... confusing in certain situations?

This thread confuses me because i don't know if people are talking about Braid or Duke Nukem. My tiny brain can't handle it.

I believe Lidgren might be what you are looking for.

Other people may know more libraries than me however, if Lidgren isn't to your tastes!

  • One LED (1$)
  • A microcontroller* (4$)
  • One button (1$)
  • A battery (this is a handheld, after all!) (4$)

Maybe you just described the handheld?
SDL = Super Dynamic LED.

Incoming collection of thoughts:

Personally i think it sounds pretty cool.

Of course it will depend on how developers use the technology. It seems like most dev's don't spend much time utilising the hardware for gameplay elements, and would rather use it as "extra space" instead.
What i mean by this is that many DS games just use the touch screen to display a menu, or an inventory. Obviously there are exceptions (such as Henry Hatsworth).

Some sort of Pictionary game would work well, with each person drawing on their own controller.

I like the fact you can zoom in on the TV from the controller itself, also neat.

Also, being able to play console games as a handheld is sweet. Even if you are playing them in bed you don't have to get up to turn the console off, as you can just use the Wiimote.

One downside i can see if that a new controller will be very expensive.

I like the idea of levels playing from a different viewpoint based on the Sonic you pick.
Other than that i remain sceptical.

I thought his name was Mr. Cum at first...  Droop

In other news, can't wait for you to expand on those concepts.

Edit: Mr. Krum sounds more hardcore than Mr. Crum.
