Farmergnome's Under the Ocean is headed to Steam this year.

Made in Unity.

Under the Garden is MMF2 (though not commercial), as is Fistful of Gun, which will have a steam version at some point whenever its done  Grin

Whoops. Sorry about that. I stand corrected.

I'll resurrect this thread to add a few more games.

Farmergnome's Under the Ocean is headed to Steam this year.

The Mac/Linux/Windows versions of Knytt Underground use MMF2 via the open source Anaconda runtime .

And last year's Pitri 1977 is MMF too. Pretty incredible to see so much stuff still coming out with this tool.

Do you think Indies have/need a console?

No. Consoles are dying. Handheld consoles make less and less sense in a smartphone world, as you can see by the declining sales of Vita and 3DS. A handheld indie console would present even more of a niche market and there'd be no hope of a developer recouping costs on such a platform.

Besides this, there's a chicken and egg problem. No one will buy an 'indie console' unless their is a killer game library, and no one will develop for one of these niche systems unless there's enough of an audience to make it worthwhile.

Bad Piggies is actually really good.

I second this. Bad Piggies is one of the greatest 2D physics games Wish it had a less dorky name.
8  Developer / Business / Re: iPhone vs iPad: Why is the pricing so much different? on: October 21, 2012, 04:41:15 PM
The price is higher because the market will pay the premium on the device.

Well to that I reply what I have mentioned already. Valve donates the submition fees to charity. They can keep the $100 fee, just donate it to charity instead.

Why? The IGF costs money to run every year. Do you think people are getting rich off of IGF entry fees? I guarantee it costs way more than $50,000 to put on.

The fee helps weed out non-serious entries.

Thanks guys. I've updated the build to fix the died count, and the music keeps playing through deaths now too.

I'm aware of the camera's issues.  I wanted to try doing something different, but it could definitely use finessing...
